We are a small-batch, homemade ice cream company in downtown Burlington, Vermont. We are focused on sharing our innovative flavors made with local, fresh ingredients in farmers markets and community events. Every scoop is made with love by our founder, Andrew Plotch.
Our story goes back over two decades, when a 4 year-old Andrew would pretend that there was an ice cream truck in his neighborhood jungle gym. and scoop his mom her favorite flavors. (She is still a little upset that he’d fake run out of imaginary flavors though.) Nine years later, after getting an ice cream maker as a Bar Mitzvah gift, he took his love of ice cream from consumer to creator.
Slow improvement from his initial mediocre flavors and rock hard scoops, led to perfected recipes. Plotch’s Pints, launched as Andrew’s first ice cream venture in 2020, made pints available to friends and family. Now, back in Vermont, he’s excited to share his love of bold flavors and fresh ice cream.
